| Historic Millwork |
| Brent's first book, which is based on his research and extensive collection of original millwork catalogs 1870-1940. This book explores historic millwork from the early industrialization period (1870, end of the Cival War) to the end of traditional building methods (1940, beginning of WWII). Before the days of hollow core doors and foam moldings. This book lays out the how and why of this time gone by and what makes it unique. |

| Historic Molding Catalog |
A great resource and handbook which dates and catalogs all the moldings available in the standard catalogs between 1890-1940. This catalog is based on the research for Brent's first book (Historic Millwork). This book catalogs and dates moldings from 1890 to 1940. The very first standard molding catalog was put together in 1891; called the Universal Molding Catalog, there were 465 moldings collected by the largest manufacturers at that time. Because of changes in architectural taste, in 1901 it changed and then changed again in 1911. This one of kind book dates and catalogs every molding of this period by style and type. It's a great resource. Email us for more info, or if you'd
like a copy. |
